When you scan a card, the photo is sent to our server and to Google Gemini (through our AI provider kie.ai) only to read what is printed on the card. Photos are not stored, except when you send a report from the app: then the scan photo is kept for up to 30 days so we can fix the identification.
We keep a technical log per scan (time, an anonymous install id, which card matched, how long it took, cost). We do not ask for your name, email or location. Your collection and scan history stay on your device.
Card catalog and prices come from TCGdex and pokemontcg.io (Cardmarket and TCGplayer market data). Prices are estimates, not offers.
Payments are handled by Apple / Google; we never see your card details.
Account → Delete all data removes your collection and history from the device. To delete server logs for your install id, contact support@getcardlens.com.
